Push 1 can be mapped to use with other daws LIKE REAPER!!, p ush 2 is again fairly worthless for anything but live. Push 2 can crash not only ableton, but it can crash your entire system, as it locks into so many resources. I find it redundant, as you need a computer screen to use either. Push 2 uses more computer resources to power the oled screen. ![]() None of its waterproof, but pad per button is better in many ways imho. Push 1 has a pad per button, push 2 uses those stupid larger multibutton pads. But what that means is that you can't always get the sound you hear in your head, because that killer note you want to add in doesn't reside in the scale your Push is set to. In fact, composition on the push is nothing like a piano/keyboard. If you're a producer or DJ with a set of equipment, especially a keyboard, a few midi pads, or other physical console you use to write music, the Push is not going to change much for you.
